The Bare Necessities

This week I give you the bread, wine & seasoned olive oil that was part of our pasta dinner on Saturday. I wasn’t really looking to post a new photo but I saw it and decided what the heck, I’ll shoot it.

There isn’t that much to this shot. No real setup here, just positioned the cork, bottle and glass. The bread and olive oil were already there waiting for us to eat ;-). To fill in the light a little bit, I used the on-camera flash blocked by a pasta bowl that was sitting on the table. The main light was a simple floor lamp.

Aperture Adjustments:
- crop
- exposure: +1.10 saturation, +0.05 contrast
- minor highlight/shadow: +16.5/+13.0
- white balance: 3675K/41
- edge sharpen
