Okay, so I’m a bit slow on getting information posted online these days. I think it’s the summer heat.
On June 29, Lee and I traveled to Canada to attend Sarah and Kris’s wedding on June 30. The weather was perfect and the party was even better.
After initially thinking the ceremony was at St. John’s church in Wartburg, I double checked the invite and we raced to Seebach’s Hill. Thankfully, we weren’t late (or maybe we were late, but things hadn’t started). The ceremony was simple and included trumpets by Claire French.
Between the ceremony and reception, Erika’s sister Christina was nice enough to host a pre-reception for select guests. Lee got to try a new beer and I got to catch up with Erika and David.
The reception was great - lots of eating, drinking and dancing. Well, Lee did more drinking than I did. He HAD to keep up with David. Both Lee and David were very attentive and made sure drinks were full. Sarah and Kris spent a lot of time with their guests…including us. We had fun remembering old stories, listening to Kris’s band play live, dancing ’70s style to Stayin’ Alive and making new memories. Our table was definitely the best!
