New Look!

Finally after working on a new look for months, I have decided to use WordPress 2.0 and K2 Beta Two r163 by Michael and Chris.

8562I looked through every single “theme” that I could find on the web and out some 200+, I narrowed it down to three.

I had a really hard time deciding between one and two, and said “f’it” I’ll do them both! I went with K2 as a base because it allows you to have multiple themes by using a different style sheet along with the base K2 styles. So, if I ever want to change this in the future, it should be pretty easy.

So, in the last two days, I have combined, converted, hacked, etc. the K2 theme so I could have the Fluidity look. It wasn’t that hard, it was mainly tedious style edits and image conversions. However, I was unable to get the background bullet images to work. I have have to ask Mikull for help on that sometime this week.

With this new theme, I have opened up a lot of possibilities for “plugins”. Things like “Asides”, “Tags”, etc. are only a few. Hopefully I will be able to actually understand how to use some of these things and show off some kewl stuff (yes I know I have said that before… sue me!).
